CLOSING DOWN. WHY?
fini. has been an independently ran brand since 2016 by me, Naomi.
There is no other reason for the business closure other than I would like my life to be filled with chapters and it is now time for my next.
Learn, grow, evolve.
I began the brand when my first born was just 8 months old. Almost all of my motherhood journey so far has been juggled with being a small business owner. I am yearning for a moment of motherhood without being consumed by fini. I don't want to miss that chance. Life is evolving around me and the physical time and energy that I can give to the brand has reduced. So what better moment than now to begin my next chapter.
It has been a decade of much more highs than lows. A magical chapter that almost feels like a dream. I accomplished things I never dreamt I would do. Creation of a brand that has been loved and worn worldwide for almost 10 years, when the only previous experience I had in retail or fashion was working at Target when I was 16 ! A true reminder that we can achieve ANYTHING that we have passion and drive for. No limitations.

My personal time commitments don't allow an open ended business sale campaign. I therefore chose to not go down this path.
Plus, I am finding it emotionally challenging to let go of this third baby of mine and have actually been dragging this decision out for a long time behind the scenes ! I decided setting a 'closure' date would force my hand.
It is a trademarked brand. A well loved brand. Has wonderful multiple manufacturing supports. A large customer database. A very high percentage of return customers. International stockists. I could go on and on. A desirable business for someone to take to the next level should they wish. ...... For the right person, where I would be assured that they will be capable of nurturing my creation into the future, I would be open to discussion.
But at this stage, I am sitting with this being an end of an era. A decade well served. Wonderful memories, connections and learnings that will last a lifetime.
I might just miss it so much that I make a come back!

WHAT SIZE HAT DO I BUY MY <?> YEAR OLD?
How long is a piece of string?
No one of us is the same, and that includes our head sizing.
We sell our items worldwide, and differing cultures have differing standard head sizing!
Generalising a head size by age is an 'assumption', and you know what they say about assumptions!
For this reason, we now label our hats by size, not age. To determine the correct fit for your child, please use our size guides available within each product specific to its design and choose via head circumference relevant to the little one you are buying for.

Example. If you are seeking what would have been the 6+ year size in the original version, this was a 54-55cm hat suited to a 52-53cm head size, therefore we suggest the current L size which is suited to a head size of 50-54cm

WHY HAS MY ORDER NOT BEEN SHIPPED?
All orders are shipped from our distribution warehouse in Cheltenham, Victoria (Australia) within 1-4 business days of order. Please expect possible delays during sale events.
WHY DO YOU NOT OFFER EXCHANGE FOR HEADWEAR DUE TO INCORRECT SIZE ORDERED?
Hygiene! As a brand dedicated to providing high-quality, long-lasting headwear for children, we maintain a strict return policy due to hygiene reasons. We understand that this may not always align with customer expectations, and we regularly review our policies to ensure we offer the best possible shopping experience. However, allowing exchanges for worn or tried-on headwear would compromise our strict hygiene standards and also result in increased costs, which would ultimately impact our pricing.
And please note that we are not the only store with this strict policy. Many stores/brands will have an exception in their return/exchange policy in relation to exclude hygiene items, namely headwear, eyewear, earrings, underwear, swimwear etc.
