Let us be transparent with the long answers behind the frequently asked questions.
WHAT SIZE HAT DO I BUY MY <?> YEAR OLD?
How long is a piece of string?
No one of us is the same, and that includes our head sizing.
Generalising a head size by age is an 'assumption', and you know what they say about assumptions!
For this reason, we now label our hats by size, not age. To determine the correct fit for your child, please use our size guides available within each product specific to its design and choose via head circumference relevant to the little one you are buying for.
Should you dare to generalise knowing our strict return policy, please click here for the World Health Organisation child growth standards charts regarding head circumferences for age.
WILL YOUR SWIM HAT'S BE RESTOCKED?
YES! however, unfortunately our swim hat restock date is currently unknown. It is of extreme importance that the products in which we supply to you are of the highest of quality, fini. standard. Unfortunately to date, our new swim hat stock deliveries have not been meeting our standard. Full transparency that this is a difficult process that we are enduring and we are endeavouring with all efforts to find a solution. We thank you for your patience, and hope that you stick with us knowing we are embracing this challenge.
WILL YOUR VINTAGE HAT BE RESTOCKED?
No. We unfortunately do not have plans to restock this item.
Why? The cost of this item to be manufactured and shipped to fini. has increased significantly. There is also a hidden cost in this product that we endure which you would be unaware of - Australia post! Australia Post charge by volume, not weight. As this item is packed in a large box for shipping to you, we absorb quite a lot of $ in shipping fees to ensure you only pay flat rate. The cost of freight for this item, along with the increased cost of manufacturing has unfortunately now removed our ability to make any profits and therefore the item is not feasible to stock.
Increasing the RRP of this item to the value it requires to make profit unfortunately will be at a price point that we do not feel is reasonable for consumers.
